How it works

When you spray ColdZyme into your throat, three important things happen:

1. Creates a protective layer

ColdZyme forms an extra moisture layer in the throat that makes it harder for viruses to enter your body. The layer covers, moisturises and protects the oral cavity and the throat.

2. Captures viruses

The osmotically active moisture layer captures and inactivates viruses.

3. Shortens illness duration

This prevents viruses from multiplying and spreading further in the body, resulting in a shorter illness and milder symptoms.

There is more than one kind of cold

What we generally call catching a cold is actually an umbrella term for a wide range of infections with the same characteristic symptoms such as a runny nose, nasal congestion, sore throat, cough and sometimes fever. In total, hundreds of different viruses can cause colds. This is why the common cold is not only the most frequent illness in humans, but also one of the more complex.
